For Schools
iC.A.R.E. Mentoring® matches students with safe, caring, and stable role models, in order to help them succeed in school and beyond. We offer two evidence-based programs designed to meet the needs of students in your district:
iC.A.R.E. Mentoring®
iC.A.R.E. Mentoring® matches students with an adult volunteer to meet weekly, during school hours, for at least one full school year. Students are matched with adults who share similar interests or life experiences, and volunteers are trained and coached by our team of Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant staff.
We currently facilitate iC.A.R.E. Mentoring programming in Akron Public Schools, Barberton City Schools, Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, and Tallmadge City Schools.
iC.A.R.E. Connect
iC.A.R.E. Connect utilizes peer to peer and group mentoring to provide students with a guided mentoring relationship with students a few years older than them. Mentoring is supervised and supported by Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant staff who coach students throughout the year and design activities to develop skills such as positive leadership and conflict resolution.
We currently lead iC.A.R.E. Connect programming at Barberton City Schools and Springfield Local Schools.
